Measuring rooms
How do I measure a room?
Tap Measure on the Capture tab. Enter the room's size (or scan it on an iPhone with LiDAR), stand the phone up, step back and stay quiet while it plays its test sounds, then clap when the flash blinks. It takes about two minutes. Then name the room and choose reverb, delay or EQ.
What is the one-time setup?
Once, outdoors, MeVerb learns your phone's own speaker and microphone so it can take them out of every measurement. It takes about a minute. Find it in Profile → Phone setup.
What do the grades mean?
A grade shows how confident the measurement is. A means a clean, quiet measurement. B and C mean noise or a short decay limited what the phone could hear. Bands the phone couldn't measure directly are labeled as estimates.
My measurement came out noisy. What helps?
Turn off fans, heaters and music, close the door, raise the phone's volume, and put the phone in the middle of the room, away from walls.
The plugin
Where do I get the MeVerb plugin?
The free MeVerb plugin for Mac (AU, VST3 and Standalone) comes from TrevBeats Multimedia at trevbeatsmultimedia.com.
How do I get my rooms into the plugin?
In the app, go to Profile → Your plugin → Link my plugin. Type the 8-character code into the plugin, or scan the plugin's QR code with your phone. After that, every room you save shows up in the plugin on any network. Linking needs MeVerb PRO. You can also AirDrop a room file and drop it on the plugin.
How do I unlink?
In Profile → Your plugin, tap Unlink. The rooms your phone sent are deleted from the link.
The community
How do I share a room?
Sign in with Apple and pick an @name, then open a room you measured and tap Share to Community. Sharing needs MeVerb PRO. Only rooms measured with MeVerb can be shared.
How do I report a room or block someone?
Open the room and tap Report or Block. We review reports within 24 hours. See the Community Rules.
How do I make a clip for Instagram, TikTok or Shorts?
Open any room and tap Make a clip. MeVerb makes a short vertical video, drums dry and then in the room, and opens the share menu.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile → Delete account. Your profile and every room you shared are deleted right away. The rooms on your phone stay.

What does PRO add?
Free: up to 3 of your own rooms, the 20 starter spaces, browsing and hearing community rooms, and share clips. PRO adds unlimited rooms, the plugin link, adding community rooms, and sharing your rooms. It's $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year in the US, and new subscribers may get a 7-day free trial.
How do I restore or cancel?
To restore, open the PRO screen and tap Restore. To cancel, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → MeVerb on your iPhone. Refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
