Terms of Use
Effective October 20, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and TrevBeats Multimedia ("we", "us") for the MeVerb iPhone app, the MeVerb plugin and the MeVerb community. By using MeVerb you agree to them. The app is also licensed to you under Apple's Standard License Agreement. Where the two differ, these terms add to Apple's for the community and MeVerb PRO.
Who can use MeVerb
You must be at least 13. If you're under the age of adulthood where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms with you.
Your rooms, and using rooms in your music
- Rooms you measure are yours.
- You may use the sound of any MeVerb room in your music and other work, commercial or not. That includes your rooms, the starter spaces and rooms you add from the community.
- Please don't sell or give away MeVerb room files themselves as a sample or impulse-response library.
- The 20 starter spaces come from the MIT Acoustical Reverberation Scene Statistics Survey (Traer & McDermott, 2016), used under the CC BY 4.0 license.
Sharing with the community
When you share a room, you keep owning it, and you give us and other MeVerb users a worldwide, royalty-free right to host, show, play and add it, and to use its sound in their own music. If you delete a room or your account, it comes down from the community. People who already added it to their own rooms may keep using it.
Share only rooms you measured yourself with MeVerb, and only names and places you have the right to share.
Community Rules
MeVerb has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Room names, @names, cities and previews must not include:
- hate speech, or attacks on people for who they are
- harassment, bullying or threats
- sexual content, or violent or graphic content
- anything illegal, or encouragement of harm
- impersonation of another person or brand
- spam, scams or advertising
- private information about someone else
- content you don't have the right to share
You can report any room and block any person from inside the app. We review reports within 24 hours. A room reported by three people is hidden until we review it. We remove content that breaks these rules and close the accounts of people who post it. We may remove any content or account that we believe harms MeVerb or its users.
MeVerb PRO
- MeVerb PRO is an auto-renewing subscription: $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year in the US (prices vary by country and are shown in the app before you buy). New subscribers may get a 7-day free trial.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple.
- PRO is also included with a TREVBEATS ALL ACCESS subscription for as long as that subscription is active.
- If PRO ends, your rooms stay on your phone, and sessions that already use a room keep playing in your plugin.
Measurements
MeVerb measures rooms with a phone's speaker and microphone. Results are estimates. Each room's grade shows how confident the measurement is, and bands MeVerb couldn't measure directly are labeled. Check what you hear before relying on a measurement for anything beyond making music.
The service
We work to keep MeVerb running, but the community and the plugin link may sometimes be unavailable, and we may change or end features. MeVerb is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages or lost data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for MeVerb in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Ending your use
You can stop using MeVerb and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Changes and law
If these terms change, we'll post the new version here with a new date. Continuing to use MeVerb means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, except where the law where you live says otherwise.
